This April tour begins with a hands on foraging experience with guide Amy Hitchcock a professional forager and nature lover. We will spend the morning with Amy as she shows us what is abundant to forage in April/May, what we must not forage and the ins and outs of the foraging community. Bring some tupperware containers or similar to take home any finds along the way.

We'll also encounter toxic lookalikes to avoid and build confidence identifying native plants. Recipe tips are on hand and as a group we will actively sniff, taste and gather with the opportunity to further your experience online with free educational resources and videos throughout the seasons"

The Afternoon will be spent at Chartham Vineyard on a exclusive lunch celebrating the best local ingriedents on offer, a tour and very special wine tasting experience.

Explore our vineyards with manager Andy learning about the different varieties of grapes they grow how they take care of them and why their location and soil is paramount to their success.

We will then join owner Richard in the beautiful great barn for a magnificent afternoon starting with a traditional farm lunch spread featuring many local artisan producers held in a beautiful historic setting.

Followed by wine tasting with cheese pairing, which includes a tutored tasting of all our award winning still and sparkling wines 6 in total.
